FAQs/ Tips

FAQs
  • Q. How much will it cost?
  • A. Video productions vary in cost and are dependent upon your budget, and your requirements. An average production cost ranges from $600.00 to $1200.00 per finished minute.

  • Q. Can we save money by using our own people?
  • A. Yes and no. Depending on the type of production, we usually recommend that you use professional talent. We have found that, although the talent may seem expensive, in reality it is far more cost effective. Professionals are able to get the work done quickly and efficiently. Usually when you are using your own people, their inexperience in video production tends to increase your videotaping or studio time, which in turn affects the bottom line. We like to use a combination of both.

  • Q. How long does it take to produce a video?
  • A. It depends on the complexity of your video requirements, but usually about a month from start to finish. We understand that often times a company is in need of a quick turnaround, and if we are able, we will go the extra mile to accommodate our client's needs.
Tips
  • Pre-Production is key to creating a successful and cost effective video, the more work and research done before the video is produced the more money you will save.

  • Save money by shooting enough footage for multiple tapes. Once you have the content for a good video it is fairly easy to edit for multiple tapes or formats.

  • Integrate strategies. Use video in conjunction with brochures or manuals.

  • Keep it short. Most audience's attention span will last about 7 minutes for a promotional video.

  • Graphics can give your video texture and depth, but avoid overusing effects or graphics.
